For Sunday's 2024 BET Awards, actress Taraji P. Henson wore two different Aprés Nail Gel-X sets, custom designed by celebrity manicurist Temeka Jackson (@customtnails1). From gold chain accents to big crystal bling, Henson definitely had some of the best and most exciting nails of the night. See below for breakdowns of the two glamorous looks.
Start with Aprés Nail Gel-X Sculpted Coffin Extra Long Tips.
Apply one coat of Gel Couleur in shade Fairy Wings to the Gel-X Tips as the base color and cure.
Apply one coat of Artiste Gel - Metallic Gold
Apply gold chrome and two coats of Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat
Add chains and bling to the Gel-X Tips with nail glue. Only add Extend Gel Non-Wipe around the chains and bling, then cure for 45 seconds in the Alpha 2-in-1 LED Nail Lamp

Start with Aprés Nail Gel-X Natural Stiletto Long Tips.
Apply one coat of Gel Couleur in shade New Year Wishes and then cure the nails in the Beta LED Nail Lamp for 30 seconds
Apply one coat of the Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat and cure for 30 seconds
Apply glitter to the nails then add one or two layers of Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat
Create 3D textures and add bling to the nails
Apply the Non-Wipe Glossy Top Gelcoat only to the 3D nail using the Artiste Gel Brush Liner. Then cure the nails for 30 seconds in the Beta LED Nail Lamp
